Singing body training
Singing body training and singing technique training is a method of training developed by Anne Rosing.
In addition to a good basic fitness condition, the singer must also possess strength and flexibility in certain muscles, which play a role in the training and balancing of the singing body. The singing body is the foundation for training a free singing and conversational voice.
All exercises include the breathing, which means that along with the training of the singing body, the singer will also train a strong breathing function.
Singing technique training is the basic training of Anne Rosing's technique which helps you find your core voice.
Through class exercises, we train the vocal fold adduction (the voice source) using different singing-related adduction exercises. The best prerequisite to a good vocal fold adduction is a well-balanced singing body.
The lessons therefore start with exercises targeting specific muscles which warm up the body and support the theme of the day. The themes will vary, and may be focused, for example, on adduction insufficiencies, support training or tensions in the jaw and neck.

Everyone may participate in the open classes – even without any prior knowledge of this method of training.
We recommend wearing sportswear/clothes which allow for free movement.
